General Lee and Rangers facing their Waterloo or Alamo?

Funny to watch all the mainstream media types and even some every day fans try to cover both bases by picking Cliff Lee and the Rangers tonight but saying the Giants will win the World Series in San Francisco. Meanwhile the Giants Ace Tim Lincecum seems to be barely mentioned in this equation which just goes with territory I guess when dealing with the hype and double-speak put out by the mainstream media.

While Cliff Lee is certainly a great pitcher, he also proved in his last appearance that he can be beat. Bruce Bochy and his club unlike the Rangers seems to have a way of re-creating themselves every night. Whether it is the juggling of the lineup or the more subtle behind the scenes preparations, rest assured that the Giants have a game plan to beat the Rangers tonight.

No longer can the story be about how the Giants got lucky with the Phillies or the first two games of the Series were a fluke and the big scary Texas ” Big Bats” will wake-up at some point and the World series will go as the pundits predicted. Tell that to Edgar Renteria the cagy veteran who is playing perhaps his final games and wants to go out a champion. Or perhaps somebody should tell Brian Wilson or Cody Ross that they aren’t good enough to win because ….well just because they don’t fit into some script that the East Coast Media wrote last week.

No folks the reality is that the San Francisco Giants have proven beyond a doubt up till this point that they are the better team plain and simple. The Red States may win tomorrow on election day, but the scrappy Giants representing the progressive West Coast city of San Francisco are going to beat the Rangers because they are smarter, have real team-spirit, and because they are a team of destiny…….http://jeffsmariners.com

Same ol’ story, east coasters can’t believe baseball exists beyond the Mississippi or even beyond NYC or Boston. Still too many trees to see (you name it)! Thanks for fresh input.
